Only The Beginning

Need CoffeeGreetings Family And Friends!

Welcome to the new website. I decided that in light of the huge life change we are embarking on, it would be nice to have a journal of sorts, so that people can follow along without having to rely on us to call you and give updates, LOL.

As most of you know, Jason has decided to accept a job offer with his company that will mean a move across the country for us. More specifically, the job is in Brampton, Ontario. We will likely move either right into Brampton, or perhaps into Guelph or another town/city in the area. We are just starting to look at houses online.

Jay will be heading out to start work on April 1st. He will likely be able to fly home every weekend, or at the very least, every second weekend. We hope to list our current house in the middle of April. I don't think it will take us long to sell. Real estate in the area is crazy, so we should get a good price as well.

We are both a little sad over the thought of leaving this house. We really consider it our 'Dream House' and so much of us has been poured into it. All the painting and tile I did, all the hours that we spent putting together furniture and arranging it just the way we want it. It's hard to let go of something that is so 'ours'. At the end of the day, it's still just a building. We can make a new house feel like home, I am good at that.

I have given notice at my jobs. My last night at Superstore will be this weekend. My co-workers are sad to see me go, especially Sherry, who was the other price changer. She said that my laugh always makes her smile, and she will miss hearing me giggling all night (a person gets awfully silly at 3am). The stock guys and my supervisors have all told me how much they have enjoyed working with me and are wishing us the best out east.

I will remain working at the gym until we move. I am training one of my staff to take over as the supervisor/department head. My general manager has promised to give me an excellent reference to the gym in Brampton or Guelph, in case I want to get a job there. At the very least I hope to be able to volunteer so that I can still have a free membership. I think that with Lincoln going into school, it would be good for Sydnie to still be amongst other kids on a regular basis.

The next couple of months are going to be a roller coaster. Thank you everyone for all of the support and encouragement we are already receiving. It really means a lot to us.

Hugs for everyone!
